  Join us for a space-themed climbing competition where you’ll navigate boulders like meteors, hang like bats, and soar through the galaxy.

• Problems inspired by stars, planets, and bat wings

• Divisions for all skill levels—from baby bats to interstellar crushers

• So spread your wings, grab your chalk, and get ready to compete in a day of gravity-defying, out-of-this-world fun! 🌠

REGISTRATION & SESSIONS:

This year, we will have three sessions to keep the stoke, gravity, and problems flowing. Citizens categories may sign up for either Citizen Session.  Tight budget?  Volunteer to judge for the youth qualifying event to get FREE registration to the Citizens comp HERE.

• Youth USA Climbing Regional Qualifier Event

• Collegiate USA Climbing Qualifier Event

  • Participants must pre-register on the USAC website HERE.

• Citizen's Competition Registration

  • $60 Prelaunch (Use promo code: PRELAUNCH at checkout) or $70 starting Nov 3rd.

  Competitor Registration Includes:

  • Raffle ticket to a slew of great prizes.

  • An adult beverage (for those of age) or other.

  • Spectator entry into finals.

  • $15 each.

  • Includes adult beverage for those of age.

PRIZES:  $2000 cash purse for Open Men’s/Women’s (1st - $600, 2nd - $300, 3rd - $100). Prizes for Recreational Youth, Beginner, Intermediate, Masters, Non-Binary, and Gravity 1st place winners only.

RAFFLE: Out-of-this-world raffle items provided by Mystery Ranch, Black Diamond, MioMi, Organic, Yeti, and more.

T-Shirts: FGD T-shirts can be purchased the day of for $20 and are first come, first served upon check-in. We will have an allotment of shirts for each session

RULES & SCORING:

• Youth USA Climbing Regional Qualifier Event

  Rules and scoring can be found at www.usaclimbing.org

• Citizen's Competition

  Redpoint scoring, top 5 completed problems. Attempts will be used to determine tiebreakers. The top 5 Open competitors will proceed to the Finals. The Final round is Isolation/Onsight (3 problems).

• Gravity Competition

  As many problems as you can do! One point each. Can repeat problems once.  No limit on tries. Can use both sessions.

Last Best Bouldering Series (LBBS):

The Last Best Bouldering Series is open to youth and adults and is an annual Montana-wide indoor climbing competition to crown Montana’s best. Full Gravity Day Citizens competition is part of LBBS (USA Climbing Regional Qualifier Event does not qualify for LBBS). Click here to learn more.

USAC Youth Regional Qualifier (All male and female categories)

o   Check in: 7am

o   Judge Meeting: 7:15am

o   Competitor Technical Meeting: 7:45am

o   Climbing: 8am – 11am

o   Awards to follow in north gym

Citizen's Competition Session 1 (Recreational Youth, Masters, Beginner, Intermediate, Open, Non-Binary and Gravity)

o   Check in: 11:15am – 11:45am

o   Competitor Technical Meeting: 11:45pm

o   Climbing: 12:00 – 3:00pm

Citizen’s Comp Session 2 (Collegiate QE, Recreational Youth, Masters, Beginner, Intermediate, Open, Non-Binary, and Gravity)

o   Check in: 2:30 – 3:00pm

o   Competitor Technical Meeting: 3:00pm

o   Climbing: 3:15 – 6:15pm

Finals Event

o   Finalist Iso Check in: 6:30 – 7pm

o   Doors open for Spectators: 7pm

o   Citizen Awards (Recreational Youth, Masters, Beginner, Intermediate, Non-Binary, and Gravity): 7:30
